Now that you’ve planned out all of your user attributes and events, it’s time to choose the how to send this data to Connect. All of Connect’s libraries and API endpoints can be found in the Connect Developer Docs.
Since you’ve listed out all of the user attributes and events you wish to track, engineering can use this list to determine the most efficient way to send the data to Connect. There are only two API calls required for this path:
All of Connect’s listed libraries have functions that access these two endpoints, allowing you to choose the most convenient library based on your tech stack.
Anytime you wish to create a user or update their attributes, you will use the identify api. Anytime you wish to trigger an event for a user, you will use the track api.
